A tropical disturbance has been detected off the coast of Mexico and is likely to make landfall in the south-central Louisiana late on Sunday, June 7th or early on Monday, June 8th.

With the start of hurricane season upon us and in anticipation of likely bad weather, the Acadia Parish Police Jury is providing the following resources to help citizens with preparations.

Time: Friday 7am-10am, Saturday 12pm-2pm, Sunday 12pm-2pm
Restrictions: limit 10 bags per residence, Self-service site
