The Personnel Committee of the Acadia Parish Police Jury met in public session at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2001, in the Courthouse Building, Police Jury Meeting Room, Crowley.
It was motioned and duly seconded that all action items contained in this report were taken, reviewed and discussed by the Personnel Committee and are to be presented as agenda items. Motion carried.

Chairperson Cecelia Broussard called the meeting to order.
A motion was offered by Mrs. Catherine LaCombe, seconded by Mr. John Beard, to adjourn into executive session to consider the matter of animal control and discussion of professionalism and competence. A roll call vote was cast. All affirmative.
The meeting was reconvened and no recommendations on the animal control program was offered.
A motion was offered by Mrs. Catherine LaCombe, seconded by Mr. John Beard, to accept and ratify the duties of the Emergency Management & Special Projects Director. Motion carried.
A motion was offered by Mrs. Catherine LaCombe, seconded by Mr. John Beard, to authorize hiring Mr. David Duhon as Mower Operator at $6.25 per hour provided all hiring requirements are met. Motion carried.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE COMMITTEE, THE PRESIDENT ADJOURNED THE MEETING UNTIL THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED COMMITTEE MEETING.
