The Finance Committee of the Acadia Parish Police Jury met at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, in the Police Jury Meeting Room. Present were Messrs. Cade Benoit, Chairman, and Thomas Sonnier. Absent was Felton Moreau.
The Committee received proposals for the selection of Engineering Services for LCDBG Funds for Gustav & Ike. Four firms submitted proposals.
A motion was offered by Mr. Thomas Sonnier, seconded by Mr. Cade Benoit, to select Aucoin & Associates and Mader Engineering to perform the Engineering Services for LCDBG Funds for Gustav & Ike.
The Committee received proposals for the selection of Administrative Consulting Services for Fire Protection or Street Improvements for LCDBG FY 2010-2011. Two firms submitted proposals.
A motion was offered by Mr. Thomas Sonnier, seconded by Mr. Cade Benoit, to select Aucoin & Associates and Mader Engineering to provide Administrative Consulting Services for Fire Protection or Street Improvements for LCDBG FY 2010-2011.
The Committee received proposals for the selection of Engineering Services for Fire Protection or Street Improvements for LCDBG FY 2010-2011.
A motion was offered by Mr. Thomas Sonnier, seconded by Mr. Cade Benoit, to select Aucoin & Associates and Mader Engineering to provide Engineering Services for Fire Protection or Street Improvements for LCDBG FY 2010-2011.
The Police Jury advertised for the selection of Architectural/Engineering Services for a Community Center for LCDBG FY 2010-2011. It was reported that no proposals were received, therefore, the Committee recommended authorizing a re-advertisement or requesting an extension of the date for receipt of proposals.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE COMMITTEE, THE CHAIRMAN ADJOURNED THE MEETING UNTIL THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED COMMITTEE MEETING.
