The Acadia Parish Planning Commission met in regular session on Tuesday, January 11, 2000 at 4:30 p.m. in the Police Jury Meeting Room, third floor, courthouse building, Crowley, Louisiana.
The President was unable to convene the regular meeting of the Acadia Parish Planning Commission due to a lack of a quorum.

Agenda items were discussed and submitted to the Police Jury for approval at their regular meeting held that same evening at 6:30 p.m.
The following recommendations were made:
‒ Approval of the December 7th minutes.
‒ Approval of Final plans submitted by Just Juniors of Opelousas, Inc. for the resubdivision of Lots 31 and 32 of Majestic Ridge Subdivision on Quarter Pole Road.
‒ Approval of Preliminary Drawings submitted by Rice Engineers submitted on behalf of Mazie Benton for Phase II of Dermas Mouton Subdivision contingent upon the corrections and changes suggested by the Parish Engineer, Mr. Karl Aucoin. They included: Title sheet, FIRM zone notations, drainage profiles, certification of road name, culvert crossing entrance onto Oureline Rd. and payment of fees.
The next meeting was scheduled to coincide with the latest Police Jury meeting to be held in February.
It was suggested that the Police Jurors be made aware of the attendance record of the Planning Commission members from their districts.
