Final plans submitted for Primeaux Place Subdivision located in Section 34, Township 8 South, Range 3 East, Acadia Parish were reviewed by the Commission and recommendations were made by the Parish Engineer, Karl Aucoin. A waiver was requested of the sixty (60) foot minimum frontage required on the 6.34 acre tract designated as Lot 13.

A motion was offered by Betty Pousson, seconded by Thomas Freeland to waive the minimum frontage requirements for Lot 13 in Primeaux Place Subdivision. Motion carried.

The Commission discussed the dedication of servitude for future widening the existing public road adjacent to the subdivision. It was pointed out that 23 feet were reserved for both road and utilities. Karl Aucoin recommended that the utility easement not be combined with the easement reserved for the widening of roadway.

A motion was offered by Betty Pousson and seconded by Thomas Sonnier to approve final plans submitted for Primeaux Place Subdivision subject to changes that will clearly define separate and adequate reservations, 10 feet for utilities and 23 feet for roadway and the payment of review fees. Motion Carried.

The Commission took no formal action on the request made by Mr. Chad Pastor regarding restrictions placed on the Phase II development of Dermas Mouton Subdivision. The Chairman indicated it was not in their scope of power to enforce restrictive covenants established by the developer.

A motion was offered by Johnny Hains and seconded by Florette Bergeron to take no action related to Phase II Dermas Mouton Subdivision until the developer formally requests the Commission rescind action accepting preliminary approval. Motion carried.

The next meeting was set for June 20, 2000.

Due to no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
