The
Acadia Parish Planning Commission met in regular session Tuesday,
January 21, 2003 at 4:30 p.m. in the Police Jury Meeting Room, third
floor, Courthouse Building, Crowley, Louisiana.

Chairman, Leonard Spears, called the meeting to order.
A motion was offered by Betty Pousson and seconded by Jason Gossen
to approve the minutes of the November 19, 2002 meeting. Motion
carried.
Chairman Spears revealed that a simple plat, requested by the
Commission at the last meeting, was submitted by J. Weston Matte on
behalf of Enola Jagneaux for property developed in Section 40,
T-7-S, R-2-E, Acadia Parish. He indicated that the plat did not show
a subdivision name or signature block. It was suggested that cross
reference be made on the plat to all property previously sold.
A motion was offered by Charles Andrus and seconded by Betty Pousson
to approve the plat submitted by J. Weston Matte on behalf of Enola
Jagneaux for property developed in Section 40, T-7-S, R-2-E, Acadia
Parish subject to amendments that should include subdivision name,
signature block and cross reference information for the original
lots sold. Motion carried.
A motion was offered by Jason Gossen and seconded by Charles Andrus
to approve the final plans for Belmont Estates subject to the
following conditions: the presentation of as built drawings
indicating the location of water lines, placement of lot boundary
monuments on plat, removal of accumulated siltation in ditches and
certification by developer’s engineer that construction is complete
and conforms to plans and specifications. Motion carried.
The next meeting was scheduled for February 18, 2003 at 4:30 p.m.
Due to no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
