The Acadia Parish Planning
Commission met in regular session Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at 4:30 p.m. in
the Police Jury Meeting Room, third floor, Courthouse Building, Crowley,
Louisiana.

Chairman Jason Gossen called the meeting to order.
A motion was offered by Mary Richard and seconded by Joey Savoie to
approve the minutes of the April 20, 2004 regular meeting. Motion
carried.
The Engineer reviewed items related to the final inspection of Vieux
Racine Subdivision. Punch list items to be corrected were drainage
related.
A motion was offered by Betty Pousson and seconded by Joey Savoie to
approve the final plans for Vieux Racine Subdivision contingent upon
completion of punch list items, payment of fees and receipt of
correspondence from the developing engineer. Motion carried.
Matters of drainage were discussed as part of White Oak Subdivision. It
was advised as per the preliminary plat review concurrence was needed by
North of Crowley to provide water service. Engineer for the developer
indicated that verbal approval was given for the culvert permit. He
indicated the road would be raised to provide cover for the driveways.
Engineer of record would provide adequate soil density testing to verify
compaction and drainage servitude.
A motion was offered by Randall Boutte’ and seconded by Blane Faulk to
approve preliminary drawings for White Oak Subdivision contingent upon
successfully addressing comments presented by the engineer. Motion
carried.
Questions related to the sale of lots along Lovell Street were
discussed. Mr. Blane Faulk was asked to contact the original owner prior
to the next meeting.
The next meeting was scheduled for July 27, 2004 at 4:30 p.m.
Due to no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
