Chairman Jason Gossen called the meeting to order.

A motion was offered by Blane Faulk and seconded by Mary Richard to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2005 regular meeting. Motion carried.

Mr. David Guillory, developer Arnold Ledoux Farms Subdivision requested approval of changes to the conceptual layout of Phase II. He indicated that the remaining property may be sold in large tracts with no new road construction.

A motion was offered by Charles Andrus and seconded by Blane Faulk to approve the conceptual change to Arnold Ledoux Farms, Phase II where larger lots are proposed with no new street extensions. Motion Carried.

The Secretary described the situation leading up to the resale of property developed by Lucille Roy Rushing. It was noted that a lot originally sold by the developer was re-sold without final approval. New owners of the property requested a waiver from the Commission in order to receive permits to build on the unapproved lots.

Engineer Karl Aucoin reminded that the owners were informed of the violation and was advised to submit for approval with a list of conditions that were not possible to comply with and request a waiver of same. Nothing had been submitted.

Mary Richard felt it would be unfair to the property owner if other permits were issued.

A motion was offered by Mary Richard and seconded by Betty Pousson to allow permits to be issued to individuals recently acquiring property from Lucille Roy Rushing requiring an affidavit relieving the Commission of any review responsibility and further require Lucille Rushing submit final plans as well as a comprehensive request for waivers of items not in compliance. Motion carried. Charles Andrus registered a no vote on the motion.

A motion was offered by Betty Pousson and seconded by Charles Andrus to request the District Attorney impose any and all penalties provided for in the Parish Subdivision Regulations on Lucille Roy Rushing relative to property subdivided in Section 4, Township 9 South, Range 3 East, Acadia Parish. Motion carried.

The next meeting was scheduled for July 26, 2005.

Due to no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
