The
Acadia Parish Planning Commission met in special session Tuesday,
February 6, 2007, at 4:30 p.m. in the Police Jury Meeting Room,
third floor, Courthouse Building, Crowley, Louisiana.
Chairman Gossen advised that he would not participate in the meeting
in
order to avoid any conflict of interest.
Vice-Chairman Thomas called the meeting to order and the Secretary
called roll.

Without objection, the Commission revise the agenda to conduct the
Public Hearing for Hidden Heritage Phase I.
A motion was offered by Charles Andrus and seconded by Catherine
LaCombe
to approve the minutes of the December 19, 2006.
Motion carried.
The President convened a public hearing to receive comments on
Hidden Heritage Subdivision - Phase I situated on a 2.0 acre tract
of land divided into lots 2-4, situated in Section 5, T-9-S, R-3-E,
Acadia Parish. No comments were received and the President
closed the hearing.
The Parish Engineer listed the following specific issues related to
the preliminary reveiw of Hidden Heritage Subdivision.
- Application fee due.
A motion was offered by Mary Richard and seconded by Blane Faulk to
give both preliminary and final approval for Hidden Heritage Phase
I, a 3 lot development situated in Section 5, T-9-S, R-3-E, Acadia
Parish. Motion carried.
The
Commission received the following comments on the Road and Drainage
construction details submitted on Oak Manor Estates:
- Evidence of method from water-works district.
- No driveway connections on side roads.
- Natural ground elevation contours needed.
- Plans and specs will not be recommended for
approval until water
line plans have been approved
by South Rayne Water Corp.
- Fees due.
The meeting scheduled for February 20 was cancelled due to the Mardi
Gras Holiday. A special meeting was tentatively scheduled for
February 27, 2007.
Due to no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
