The Acadia Parish
Planning Commission met in regular session Tuesday April 17, 2007 at
4:30 p.m. in the Police Jury Meeting Room, third floor, Courthouse
Building, Crowley, Louisiana.
Mr. Thomas Sonnier, Vice Chairman, called the meeting to order.

A motion was offered by Mr. Blane Faulk to revise the agenda to
discuss the plat presented by Mr. Glenn Latiolais at the April 3,
2007 meeting. Motion carried.
A motion was
offered by Mr. Blane Faulk and seconded by Mrs. Catherine LaCombe to
approve the minutes of the April 3, 2007 meeting with the following
revision: The minutes are to reflect that Mr. Joey Savoie
voted nay on the motion to grant exclusion 2-C to Mr. Glenn
Latiolais. Motion carried.
A motion was offered by Mr. Clyde Andrus and seconded by Mr. Joey
Savoie to grant to the developer of the Hidden Heritage Subdivision
a waiver of Acadia Parish Subdivision Regulation, Section H, 8-2
setting blocks at a maximum of 1500 feet. Motion carried.
A motion was
offered by Mrs. Mary Richard and seconded by Mr. Clyde Andrus to
approve the preliminary for Hidden Heritage Subdivision, Phase II
subject to the addressing of comments made by the Parish Engineer.
Motion carried.
Mr. Eli Khfat
appeared before the commission to discuss a planned home site.
No action was required from the commission.
A motion was
offered by Mr. Blane Faulk and seconded by Mr. Joey Savoie to
rescind the motion from the April 3, 2007 Planning Commission
Meeting granting Mr. Glenn Latiolais a waiver under exclusion 2-C of
the Acadia Parish Subdivision Regulations. Motion carried.
Mrs. Mary Richard
asked that Mr. Latiolais be notified to cease and desist the sale of
property granted a waiver under Acadia Parish Subdivision
Regulations, Section 2-C.
Mr. Ray Rodmaster,
238 Shield Road, Mire LA appeared before the Commission to present
comments on the proposed subdivision, Hidden Heritage Phase II, and
its effect on the drainage in that area.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE
PLANNING COMMISSION, THE CHAIRMAN ADJOURNED THE MEETING UNTIL THE
NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING.
