The Acadia Parish Planning Commission met in regular session Tuesday June 17, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. in the Acadia Parish Police Jury Meeting Room, Third Floor, Courthouse Building, Crowley, Louisiana.

Randall BoutteA motion was offered by Ms. Catherine Lacombe, seconded by Mr. Clyde Hebert, and carried, to accept the minutes of the meeting of April 15, 2008.
Mr. Walter Comeaux representing Belle Place Subdivision Phase I submitted the Final Plat and Specifications. Mr. Karl Aucoin, Parish Engineer, had comments on the following items regarding the Preliminary Application:
A. The developers need a letter from the Water District stating
that water will be provided to the subdivision.
B. The developers need a letter from the LDHH regarding
wastewater disposal.
C. Appropriate fees need to be submitted.Mr. Aucoin had the following comments regarding the Preliminary Plat Review:
A. The final plat should provide for a paved permanent cul-de-sac.
B. The final plat should indicate that Water and Wastewater, Inc.
will be the owner and operator of the sewer collection and
treatment system once it is constructed and operational.
C. Letters from Water District and LDHH.Mr. Aucoin reviewed the Final Plans & Specifications and had the following comments:
A. The developer needs to revise the plans and resubmit the
plans relating to items 5,6,7,8 and 9 of the Final Plans &
Specifications.A motion was offered by Mr. Blane Faulk, seconded by Mr. Joey Savoie, and carried, to accept the final plans and specifications once they are approved by Mr. Karl Aucoin.
A discussion was held with Mr. Calvin Hollier with no action being taken.
The next Planning Commission Meeting will be held on July 15, 2008, at 4:30 P.M., in the Police Jury Meeting Room.
Their being no further business to be conducted, a motion was offered by Mr. Andrus, seconded by Mr. Savoie, and carried that the meeting by adjourned.
