The Acadia Parish
Planning Commission held a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 15,
2009 at 4:30 P.M. in the Acadia Parish Police Jury Meeting Room,
Third Floor, Courthouse Building, Crowley Louisiana with Chairman,
Jason Gossen presiding.

The
meeting was called to order by Mr. Jason Gossen, Chairman.
A motion
was offered by Mr. Joey Savoie, seconded by Mr. Charles Andrus, and
carried, to accept the minutes of the meeting of November 17, 2009.
Mr. Leon
Boudreaux appeared before the commission to discuss placing four (4)
mobile homes on his residential property, which consists of 9.16
acres. Motion was offered by Mr. Clyde Hebert, seconded by Ms.
Catherine Lacombe, and carried, to approve Mr. Boudreaux to
lease/rent two (2) of the mobile homes. If Mr. Boudreaux
leases/rents more than two (2) mobile homes, he would need to come
before the planning commission and comply with the regulations in
regards to trailer parks.
Mr. Larry
Malbrough appeared before the commission to discuss his rental
property which consists of his residence and three (3) rental
trailers. Mr. Malbrough stated he donated property to his son for
the remaining two (2) trailers. Mr. Malbrough provided documentation
on the donation. No motion was made.
Mr.
Hillman Thibodeaux appeared before the commission to discuss
property that was donated to his daughter. He provided documentation
of the donation. No motion was made.
Mr. Larry Richard and
Ms. Christie Dailey appeared before the commission to request the
re-subdividing of Tract 2 on the plat of survey for Larry and Mary
Richard Subdivision, dated November 30, 2009. Mr. Karl Aucoin,
Parish Engineer, stipulated they comply with the Department of
Health and Hospital and have the plat signed for recording purposes
. Motion was offerred by Ms. Catherine Lacombe, seconded by Ms. Mary
Richard, and carried, approving the dividing of Tract 2 subject to
the recommendation of Mr. Aucoin.
Mr. Ted
Bourque, with St. James Estates Subdivision, appeared before the
commission requesting the subdivision be dissolved due to it never
being developed. Motion was offered by Mr. Charles Andrus, seconded
by Mr. Randall Boutte, and carried to abolish St. James Estates
Subdivision.
The Road
Parish Engineer, Mr. Karl Aucoin, commented on the status of the
subdivision of 7th District Pavillion Inc.
There
being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
was adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for January
19, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.
