The Acadia Parish Planning Commission met in regular session Tuesday May 19, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. in the Acadia Parish Police Jury Meeting Room, Third Floor, Courthouse Building, Crowley, Louisiana.

Evelyn JulianThe meeting was called to order by Mr. Charles Andrus, Co-Chairman.
A motion was offered by Ms. Catherine LaCombe, seconded by Mr. Clyde Hebert , and carried, to accept the minutes of the meeting of April 21, 2009.
A motion was offered by Mr. Clyde Hebert, seconded by Ms. Catherine LaCombe to approve the preliminary plat of Country Meadows Subdivision subject to the following recommendations made by parish engineer, Mr. Karl Aucoin:
A) Existing utilities not indicated.
B) A final determination of proposed drainage servitudes will be made upon submittal of construction documents. The widths of the drainage servitudes along the existing and proposed drain ditches shall be of sufficient width to include the drain ditch and sufficient width along the top bank for future maintenance.
C) Private drainage servitudes indicated on Note B. If drainage is to be private, then maintenace should be the responsibility of one entity.
D) The limits of the flood hazard area and the base flood elevation shall be indicated on the final plat.
E) Need letter from the parish sanitarian.
F) A LDOTD roadway connection permit shall be provided at time of construction drawing submittal.There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting was adjourned until the next regular meeting scheduled for June 16, 2009 at 4:30 p.m.
