Public Hearing
PROCEEDINGS TAKEN AT A PUBLIC HEARING HELD ON BEHALF OF THE
POLICE JURY OF THE PARISH
OF ACADIA, STATE OF LOUISIANA, ON
TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2007.
A public hearing was held on behalf of the Police Jury of the Parish of
Acadia, State of Louisiana (the
"Police Jury"), at its regular meeting place,
the Police Jury Room of the
Courthouse, Crowley, Louisiana, at six o'clock
(6:00) p.m., on Tuesday, July
17, 2007.
Attendance was as follows:
Jacqueline Babineaux, Secretary.
The public hearing was opened by Jacqueline Babineaux, who announced
that, pursuant to the
provisions of a resolution adopted by the Police Jury
on June 5, 2007, that those
persons present would discuss, answer questions
and hear any and all objections
relative to the construction of street paving
improvements and the manner of
payment therefor on the current proposed
project set out in the
resolution of intention adopted on June 5, 2007, giving
formal notice of the intention
of the Parish to construct such improvements.
It was then announced that
property owners present at the meeting should
at this time either present
their oral or written objections, or their petitions,
for or against the following
described paving improvements.
HIDDEN HERITAGE
SUBDIVISION
CONSTRUCTION AND
HARDSURFACING OF ROADWAY
Construction and hardsurfacing of a
proposed roadway and associated roadway
drainage within Hidden Heritage
Subdivision, commencing at its intersection
with Heritage Road and proceeding
north 3275' linear feet to its termination
with a cul de sac, consisting of
asphaltic concrete surfacing two (2) inched
thick, eighteen (18) feet wide on a
nineteen (19) feet wide soil cement
stabilized base course 8 1/2 inches
thick.

date will be closed.
