LADIES & GENTLEMEN:
Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Acadia Parish Police Jury will be held in the Police Jury Meeting Room, Courthouse Building, Crowley, Louisiana, at 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 30, 2001, to discuss the following item:
AGENDA:
1. Consider immediate action to repair bridge on Fournerat Road.

We, the undersigned members of the Acadia Parish Police Jury, do hereby accept such service of the foregoing notice, waiving any and all irregularities in such service and such notice and consent and agree that said Police Jury of Acadia shall meet at the time and
place named therein and for the purpose therein stated.

RESOLUTION
BY: MR JOHN HUMBLE SR AND MRS CATHERINE LACOMBE
BE IT RESOLVED: by the Acadia Parish Police Jury in regular session duly convened this 30th day of October, 2001, does hereby authorize Aucoin & Associates to engage for and on behalf of the Parish the company of E. B. Feucht & Sons, Inc., State Contractor License No. 5173, to perform the following construction work to the bridge structure on Fournerat Road:
I Removal of existing stringers on bridge caps, shim top of pile caps
with 3" x 12" x 22 ft. creosoted timbers.
II Replacement of existing stringers drifted to new shims and pile caps.
III Should additional new 6" x 12" stringers be needed the price per each
installed will be $250.00 each.
Total Cost - $9,250.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for said project be part of Sales Tax Surplus Fund #304.
