A motion was offered by Mr. A. J. Credeur, seconded by Mr. John
Humble, Sr., to adjourn into executive session to consider the
matters related to prospective litigation with Pickett Industries
vs. Acadia Parish Police Jury, Sandra LeJeune Perrodin vs. Acadia
Parish Police Jury, Docket #84221 and Michael G. Boudreaux vs.
Acadia Parish Police Jury, Docket #82521. The following roll call
votes was cast: Yeas: Alton Stevenson, A. J. Broussard, John Humble,
Sr., Cecelia B. Chambers and A. J. Credeur. Motion carried.
The President reconvened the meeting following the executive
session.
A motion was offered by Mr. John Humble, Sr., seconded by Mr. A.
J. Credeur, to authorize Legal Counsel to negotiate with Pickett
Industries a solution to the Landfill liner construction project
claims. Motion carried.
A motion was offered by Mr. Alton Stevenson, seconded by Mr. John
Humble, Sr., to deny the settlement offer made by Michael G.
Boudreaux. Motion carried.
