Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Acadia Parish Police Jury will be held in the Police Jury Meeting Room, Courthouse Building, Crowley, Louisiana, at 10:00 A.M., on, Friday, January 15, 2010, to consider the following items:
AGENDA:
1. Authorize the President to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement and to sign any and all documents with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation for a research center in Acadia Parish.
2. Request of the City of Crowley regarding the annexing of property along West Northern Avenue.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Acadia Parish Police Jury in regular session duly convened this 15th day of January, 2010, does hereby authorize the President, Mr. A. J. Credeur, to sign a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement and any and all other documents with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation regarding the location of a research center in Acadia Parish.

RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED by the Acadia Parish Police Jury in regular session duly convened this 15th day of January, 2010, does hereby consent to the request of the City of Crowley to annex a portion of right-of-way of West Northern Avenue as per the "Map Showing the Proposed Annexation of the Right of Way of West Northern Avenue Extension Located in Acadia Parish, Louisiana into the City of Crowley, Louisiana" prepared by Mader Engineering, Inc. and dated December 9,2009.
